About me

I'm excited to share with you my journey, one that's taken me from a young rower to a World Record breaking champion, and now, to your coach and mentor in the exhilarating world of sprint rowing.

Why I'm Here

Now, as a leader in sprint rowing, I'm here to pass on my knowledge, experience, and passion. My aim is to empower you with the techniques, insights, and mindset that have propelled me to the top. Whether you're an aspiring rower, a seasoned athlete, or a coach, my course is designed to elevate your performance and understanding of this dynamic sport.

A Champion Legacy

My story in the rowing world is one of relentless pursuit and groundbreaking achievements. I hold the indoor rowing world record for the 500m with an astonishing time of 1:09.8, achieving an average power output of 1029 watts. In addition I am the 1Km world record holder with a time of 2:38.2 averaging over 700w. My accolades include being a four-time World Rowing Indoor Champion, both in-person and virtually.

Versatility and Endurance

My sporting prowess extends beyond rowing. I've set multiple age group world records across various distances on the SkiErg, showcasing my versatility and endurance. My skills on the water have also led me to become a three-time Maxi72 yacht world champion and an active team member in the prestigious 52 Super Series Grand Prix circuit.

Foundational Success

Rowing has been my passion since youth. I represented Great Britain at the Junior World Championships in 2007 and celebrated a significant victory in the Fawley Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta. These early experiences provide me with the understanding to span the chasm between theoretical science and functional methods. More recently I have been able to get involved with testing for the National Beach sprint team where I proved erg power directly transfers to these costal boats.

Overcoming Adversity

At 2.06m and 122kg, I'm a testament to the power of resilience and dedication. From the age of 16 to 22, I faced and overcame serious discogenic back issues. This journey taught me not just about physical strength, but also the importance of adaptive training methods and mental resilience

Join me in this exciting journey to unlock your full potential in sprint rowing.
